MRSA for more than a year
Deborah and her daughter Jennifer
Our daughter was returning to her cheerful self after many, many years.
Our daughter Jennifer had been battling MRSA for about three years now. And last May we were both involved in a rollover car accident in the Northern Arizona Mountains, and Jennifer suffered two broken ankles and the right ankle was severely shattered. And, although, I thought her MRSA was controlled, it became evident after her third reconstructive surgery her blood work indicated that the MRSA was highly present not only locally on the fracture site, but also systemically.
At that time she was released from the hospital, and placed on IV pick line therapy with vancomycin administered for six weeks. And she appeared through many, many weekly blood tests that she was in remission from the MRSA. But, unfortunately, that didn’t appear to be the case and after a few months the right ankle became infected with MRSA again locally right in the wound site. So her surgeon said it wasn't uncommon as the steel plate that was put in there drew an affinity for the MRSA.
Then Jen was readmitted again and they did take out the large steel plate. That was removed. So she underwent two more pretty radical surgeries and flush outs to wash out the localized MRSA. So due to the fact that this was her fifth surgery, she was left with a huge open wound on the right ankle and it did come back and tested positive once again for MRSA.
What they told her in the hospital was she had to resume that IV pick line therapy, which, by the way, I think is pretty brutal because they do have to pick that right into one of the valves that is actually in the heart. They also said they wanted to put her on a high tech wound suction vac to help the healing.
She did refuse the pick line therapy and she was almost caught up in a political battle with the hospital and the infectious disease doctors because they didn't really want to have her released.
At that point I prayed really hard because I felt like there had to be something out there effective in annihilating this MRSA. That's when I came across your site, Shannon. And I read it tenaciously. I listened to the testimonies. And the part that really got me was the medical information because it really did start to make a lot of sense medically reading about the lactic and the uric acid build up in the body, and how the MRSA is just having its own time in there.
I immediately had some ordered. I ordered the water and the gel for Jennifer and I started her on both of them. The gel is truly amazing and I'm still placing it directly on the wound site each day. After about one week of Jennifer drinking the water, I could see a dramatic improvement in her mood and in her overall appearance. Our daughter was returning to her cheerful self after many, many years.
We did have a private nurse that the hospital contracted out to her. And the nurse is amazed. In fact, today she was just released because the nurse is like my gosh, it's amazing. She doesn't need the ankle pump. She never took any of the six weeks of antibiotics, the oral antibiotics that the doctor prescribed.
We just went straight to the water and the gel. And she just had her last visit this past Monday with the surgeon, and he's truly amazed by her healing and the progress. He said whatever you're doing, just keep on doing it.
I'm going to have her remain on the pHenomenal water and I'll continue to use the gel on the ankle site even after the wound is fully closed just to make sure that she is MRSA free. Looking at it you can actually see how the gel is having this heal from the inside out because when she first came home the actual depth of that wound site was like an inch and a quarter. And you can almost see like the bone down on the side where she has the wound. Now, it's almost fully surfaced and it's been – I think we're going into our sixth week right now, which is incredible.
That wound pump was causing so much damage she ended up getting burns around the wound site. So then the gel – that's when the nurse said I think you're right, this isn't doing here any good. That's when the gel has actually healed, what I would say, was a second degree burn from that suction and the pad they put on her ankle. So not only did we have the wound site after that vac irritated, she also had the skin around the wound site irritated, which is like insult to injury; yeah, horrible, horrible.
That's just amazing. She's waking up earlier. She used to stay in the bed and not get up until about 2:00. But now she's waking up around 7:30, 8:00 and, actually, the blinds are opening up. She's writing. She's a graduate student. She had to drop out because the MRSA was really affecting her overall. I didn't know it at that point. I thought it was the post partum depression after her son was born. So everything became like a tangled mess. But her writing and her reading, and she's more focused. Her sense of humor is back. She has like that spark back in her eye. It's incredible. She's carrying on conversations, which for a long time were really hard for her to do. That’s phenomenal.
That's beautiful. It's an incredible feeling to know that you're helping and there is something that is so effective, not only on the outside, but the internal, the mood, everything we need to get going every day. It's not suppressed any more. It really is a nasty disease, the more you learn about it. But it really is a godsend to know that there's hope out there for people.
There's hope.
Update!

A Conversation With Deborah
Well, today we have on the phone Deborah, and Deborah you're actually calling for your daughter. Is that right?
Deborah:That's right, Shannon.
Shannon:Can you tell us the story? What's going on?
Deborah:Sure. And, first of all, thanks for having me. Well, first of all, our daughter Jennifer had been battling MRSA for about three years now.
Shannon:Okay.
Deborah:And at that time she was released from the hospital, and placed on IV pick line therapy with vancomycin administered for six weeks.
Shannon:Okay.
Deborah:Then Jen was readmitted again and they did take out the large steel plate. That was removed. So she underwent two more pretty radical surgeries and flush outs to wash out the localized MRSA. So due to the fact that this was her fifth surgery, she was left with a huge open wound on the right ankle and it did come back and tested positive once again for MRSA.
So what they told her in the hospital was she had to resume that IV pick line therapy, which, by the way, I think is pretty brutal because they do have to pick that right into one of the valves that is actually in the heart.
Shannon:Okay.
Deborah:Yeah, so then they also said they wanted to put her on a high tech wound suction vac to help the healing. So she did refuse the pick line therapy and she was almost caught up in a political battle with the hospital and the infectious disease doctors because they didn't really want to have her released. So, anyway, at that point I prayed really hard because I felt like there had to be something out there effective in annihilating this MRSA. And that's when I came across your site, Shannon. And I read it tenaciously. I listened to the testimonies. And the part that really got me was the medical information because it really did start to make a lot of sense medically reading about the lactic and the uric acid build up in the body, and how the MRSA is just having its own time in there. It's like your body just becomes a host to this stuff.
So I immediately had some ordered.
Shannon:So she's not on antibiotics now?
Deborah:Oh, no. She never was in this round.
Shannon:Okay.
Deborah:We just went straight to the water and the gel. And she just had her last visit this past Monday with the surgeon, and he's truly amazed by her healing and the progress. He said whatever you're doing, just keep on doing it. So Jennifer, I'm going to have her remain on the pHenomenal water and I'll continue to use the gel on the ankle site even after the wound is fully closed just to make sure that she is MRSA free.
Shannon:That's fantastic. Now, along with this testimonial are the pictures that you've been taking, and the progression.
Deborah:Yes, I'll be sending you some more of those as far as measuring it and everything. Looking at it with the eyeball you can actually see how the gel is having this heal from the inside out because when she first came home the actual depth of that wound site was like an inch and a quarter. And you can almost see like the bone down on the side where she has the wound. Now, it's almost fully surfaced and it's been – I think we're going into our sixth week right now, which is incredible.
Shannon:So about how many weeks with the gel?
Deborah:She's been on the gel for five weeks now.
Shannon:Five week, fantastic.
Deborah:It's wet to dry. You just put it right in there.
Shannon:Oh, that's right. You went for several weeks without the gel because the wound pump was on there.
Deborah:Exactly.
Shannon:Okay.
Deborah:And that wound pump was causing so much damage she ended up getting burns around the wound site.
Shannon:Yeah, looking at that wound, for anybody that doesn't know, of course, Staphylococcus aureus, the bacteria, it produces lactic acid to keep the immune system away. That's why it's such a good pathogen. That's why it's so resistant to our own immune system. And in a case like that, it's living on the skin. It has the environment it needs. It gets the sugar from the blood, and it produces so much acid that literally you're looking at an acid burn.
Deborah:That's just amazing.
Shannon:Yeah, logic says to put something that would kill bacteria on it. You know, bleach, or peroxide or something. But until you stop the acid it's not going to go away. In fact, there are two issues here. There is the issue with the ankle and there's the issue with what's going on in her inside. Tell me a little bit about her mood, how she feels.
Deborah:Oh, she's waking up earlier. Shannon: And see the good news is it's only going to be better.
Deborah:That’s phenomenal.
Shannon:And, by the way, just as a side point, when you get to a state called lactic acidosis it basically means your body is just totally overwhelmed with lactic acid. It depletes your minerals and the longer a person is held in that state, the body is basically on emergency mode. You can stay in that mode for a year, two years, five years, ten years. And the longer you're there, of course, the longer it takes to recover. pHenomenal puts out the lactic acidosis in a short amount of time, but it's a matter of recovery. And that's why, in a lot of ways, once again, on my site I've divided up between having MRSA for less than a year or more than a year because they're different people. So she's three years, but she's going to recover just like anybody else.
Deborah:That's beautiful. It's an incredible feeling to know that you're helping and there is something that is so effective, not only on the outside but, like you said Shannon, the internal, the mood, everything that keeps us – everything we need to get going every day. It's not suppressed any more. It really is a nasty disease, the more you learn about it. But it really is a godsend to know that there's hope out there for people.
Shannon:Yes, there's hope.
Deborah:There's hope.
Shannon:Hey, thank you, Deborah and keep sending those pictures.
Deborah:I will. Thank you, so much.
Shannon:Okay.
