Hi, my name’s Spencer Brown. I’m going to be in fourth grade and I’m nine years old. One day I came in from dinner and I had a mosquito bite right under my leg. A few days later we found out it was a rash. I came home, took a shower and I started to cry. My mom said why are you crying. I said it’s just so bad. It itches so bad. My dad recommended I use his green gel because it looked like MRSA, and my mom kept on saying it wasn’t. And I used the white gel and it took the itching away. Finally, my dad took me to the doctor and touched it with a swab. Then they said we’ll give your results back in a few days. Because my dad said it was MRSA, I kept on drinking the water and taking the gel. A few days later they called and they said it was Staphylococcus aureus or MRSA. They recommended us to use antibiotics, but we said no because it was already gone. I’m glad that it’s gone and I didn’t have to take antibiotics.
