How do you mix pHenomenal? Waters that contain minerals will neutralize the effectiveness of pHenomenal, so mix pHenomenal with water that is low in minerals or mineral-free. Distilled water is best, if unavailable, water that has been run through a home filtration system will do.  Take 32 ounces of this mineral-free water and mix it with 1 ounces of pHenomenal (the cap on the phenomenal bottle holds approximately ¼ ounce, so use 4 capfuls). At this point, it should taste like regular water.  Start slowly. pHenomenal may look like water but it is very powerful and it is exactly what your body needs. Most people feel better and more energy as soon as they start drinking pHenomenal but we recommend starting off slowly because we all handle things differently. For the first two days try only 1/2 ounce (or two capfuls of pHenomenal) to 32 ounces of water.

How much pHenomenal should I drink a day? The ratio of 32 ounces of water to one ounce of pHenomenal never changes. However, depending on your body weight the volume of pHenomenal/water solution will change. Suggested volume is as follows:

  How long should I drink pHenomenal? Good question. Like so many questions the answer is: it depends. Some people are in the clear between 2-3 months of drinking pHenomenal. It depends on long you have had it and how bad it has been. So after you have felt pretty good for a while, test it out, and go a few days without it. Can I put ice in my pHenomenal? Yes, but the best thing to do is make a few trays of ice with your mixed pHenomenal. Then you have “alkaline” ice that you can add to your water and the structure of the mixture will not change.

Can I exercise while drinking pHenomenal? Absolutely, in fact it’s one of the fastest ways to get rid of acidity if you do it properly. You need to do mild cardio while you’re still in lactic acidosis. I’m talking about just the first two weeks or so of taking pHenomenal. In other words, if you’re tired go out and take a walk, but honestly… don’t overdo it. Life is long and you will recover. The last thing you need is to burn yourself out. As you feel your energy coming back, walk further and further and you’ll know when it’s time to really push it. The human body is made to work… not sit! I would avoid any heavy weight lifting during the first stages of recovery.

Should I ever take a break from my standard dose of pHenomenal? There is no need to interrupt your pHenomenal consumption. Taking a break will only accumulate more Hydrogen over the days stopped. So why stop? Just continue and keep the Hydrogen flowing out of the body.

Can I mix pHenomenal with lemon or something else? No you cannot. Please follow the mixing instructions and do not add anything else which may neutralize the pHenomenal.

Can I mix large amounts at a time, days in advance? That’s no problem. pHenomenal’s pH will not change if it is pre-mixed.

Can diabetics use pHenomenal safely? Remember we cannot offer any advice about medical safety because we are not qualified to offer such advice. We have had customers taking insulin benefit from pHenomenal but we would recommend proceeding slowly in that case and seeking medical advice if it seems needed.

How can someone who is hospitalized and on a feeding tube take pHenomenal? Remember we cannot offer any advice about medical safety because we are not qualified to offer such advice. Then, when they are able to start pHenomenal orally, that is the best route.

Will MMS interfere with me taking pHenomenal? No, not at all. MMS, or its active ingredient Chlorine Dioxide, is a great oxidizer. In fact the pHenomenal will assist in removing the residual die-off of other bacteria etc., through urination.

Why do I see “white flakes” in my bottle of pHenomenal? It’s just the calcium that is added as a flavor buffer falling out of solution. When phenomenal gets cold or with time it falls out and you can see it on the bottom of the bottle. It’s harmless and it doesn’t change the pH in the slightest. Feel free to filter it out by pouring your phenomenal thru a paper towel. By the way, we go to incredible lengths to keep that from happening… but it still does.

Do I need to keep pHenomenal refrigerated? There is no need to keep pHenomenal refrigerated. Just store it at room temperature.

What is the shelf life of your products? Two years from the bottling date. You will find an expiration date printed on each bottle.

What are the ingredients in pHenomenal? pHenomenal is a new way of forming water with some calcium added for taste. Also see What is pHenomenal

Why do you add calcium to the pHenomenal? It is a flavor buffer. Have you ever heard of putting baking soda in your refrigerator to absorb taste? It’s much the same. Calcium absorbs the taste.

When traveling by air, will radiation affect the structure of pHenomenal? No, not any more than water will pick up radiation.

What makes pHenomenal different than the alkaline water machines? The main difference is alkaline machines will not REMOVE Hydrogen from the body. If you take pure 100% free water and pass it through an alkaline water machine, it won’t produce either acid or alkaline water. Water machines work by forcing electrons onto the minerals that are passing through the electrical plates in the machine. Next, the altered mineral grabs a Hydrogen molecule from the water and holds it close to the charged mineral. Remember pH simply means the percentage of Hydrogen and if all the Hydrogen’s are attached onto a mineral . . . the water will read that it has a higher (or alkaline) pH. The problem is that the Hydrogen molecule is still there . . . it never went anywhere. I’ve never had breakouts before. Three weeks into drinking pHenomenal, I have more sores. Is this normal? We would not say this is normal, however, possible. Remember, you are cleaning out the blood of excess Hydrogen. Acids will tend to circulate throughout the body/skin tissue. If this happens, just continue drinking as usual. The alkaline gel should be placed on the sores. Be patient . . . they will go away.

Will pHenomenal neutralize my stomach acid so I won’t be able to digest my food? No. pHenomenal is neutralized the second it hits the stomach by the stomach acid. What happens next? The body makes more. Stomach acid is like any other acid… it is made of hydrogen. Where does the body find hydrogen? It goes to the blood and converts these hydrogen molecules into stomach acid! Incredible! This is actually beneficial for someone with MRSA, because that’s what you want, less hydrogen in the blood. You can have a condition called “alkalosis” but that’s from drinking water with toxically high amounts of sodium, calcium, potassium or magnesium for years and over alkalizing.

If pHenomenal is supposed to alkalize me, how come I do not get better readings pH testing my urine and saliva? You can drive yourself out of your mind testing your urine and saliva. When we first started using and testing pHenomenal we had a test group check their urine and saliva several times a day for three weeks. The results? Some went more acidic and some more alkaline. The fact is your body expels acid thru your saliva and urine, so it usually will read on the acidic side. These tests do not reflect your acid levels in your blood, which is the part that is important.

How do I use the alkaline gel? Follow the label instructions. Apply the gel liberally to the affected area, as thick as possible and as many times per day as possible. You may consider placing a non-absorbing pad over the gel and 
gently securing it with a bandage. Use separate from any topical treatments from your doctor. This gel is not a preventative for Staph or MRSA (like a hand sanitizer would be) nor is to be used as an anti-bacterial cleanser.
 It is designed for a pre-existing skin problem caused by acid loving bacterium.
 It removes the acidity so the bacteria can’t live and allows the immune system to kill the bacteria and the body to heal.

What are the ingredients of the alkaline gel? Active Ingredients : proprietary high alkalinity concentrate (non caustic), thickening
 agent, organic lemon oil as fragrance and 7% isopropyl alcohol to keep it from spoiling.

How do I use the B-pHree gel? Follow the label instructions. Apply to dry skin while in the shower (without the water running) liberally from the bottom of your feet to the top of your head. Applying to the face last being careful to keep it out of the eyes and mouth, then rinse with water. Repeat TWICE per week (previously we had recommended once a week). One order of B-phree contains enough product on average for eight applications. There is no need to let B-pHree sit on the skin and it should be rinsed off as soon as it is applied to the entire body. Do NOT leave on the skin for more than 10 minutes. If the gel gets into your eyes or mouth, flush with water immediately. Use caution so as not slip while in the shower. Feel free to use soap, shampoo and water to finish your shower as usual. When you step out of the shower use a clean towel and put on clean cloths. It is also a good time to change your bed sheets and pillow cases. The idea is now that you have used the B-pHree gel to cleanse your skin of Staph you would like to stay that way as long as possible. In time while drinking pHenomenal your skin will not be nearly as acidic and your chances of another outbreak will be much less likely.

Will the B-pHree gel help genital warts caused by a virus? Remember we cannot give medical advice. However based on our research, strangely enough, it probably will. Warts are caused by a virus and the pH of B-pHree should kill it. It’s not what it’s designed for, but it’s

Why does MRSA go to the lungs? MRSA is a blood born bacteria so it can go anywhere. This is one of the biggest misunderstandings. Around 90% of people that have any kind of a MRSA sore, wound or boil have MRSA in the blood. That is the root of the problem and until you balance the inside the problems on the outside will always return.

How long does it take to get rid of MRSA? Remember we cannot give medical advice, we can only speak truthfully from our experience. Each person is different. It all depends on length of time from exposure and the amount of Lactic Acid in a person’s body. Can be 2 to 3 months . . . some less, some longer.

Are there any antibiotics that are used to treat MRSA? Yes. Doctors almost exclusively use antibiotics to treat MRSA. The problem is they don’t often work.

Is there an accurate test for MSRA or for Lactic Acid? Yes there are tests for both. There are two tests for MSRA. First there is a swab test, which is taken from the nasal area or an open wound. The other option a blood test. The doctor orders the test and you go to a blood lab to have the blood drawn. When the test comes back it reads positive or negative for Staphylococcus aureus. I have personally talked to the head MRSA guy for Quest labs and he said “you need to draw 4 or 5 vials of blood for the test and 4 out of the five might come back negative and only one positive because it is so hard to detect the bacteria in the blood.” He went on to tell me “the best time to take a sample is when they are septic” and from a lab technicians point of view this is true. Basically, what this means, is that it will often be inaccurate. But with new tests and technology it won’t be long until there is a better way.

Why does my doctor not know about Lactic Acid and how it relates to MRSA? They should! Studies go back to the 1930′s! Today, unfortunately, most doctors see “Lactic acidosis” as a death sentence or a dirty word. Doctors work hard, but focus more on killing bacteria rather than addressing the root cause.

Can I get MRSA from shaving? Shaving can be a great entry point for MRSA through a nick or hair follicle. Some common sense reminders: If using disposable razors, be sure to use once and throw away. Another tip is to always shave in the direction the hair grows instead of pulling the hair backwards. Some of our clients say that they use the B-pHree gel as a shaving gel and then they apply the alkaline gel over the shaved area. Should I take a bath in Epsom salt, or will that irritate my MRSA sores? Epsom salts can irritate skin tissue. We recommend that you just use the alkaline gel. Remember the open sores are a result of excess acids coming out through the skin. The acid needs to be neutralized.

What can I do if I have MRSA on my fingernails? For the fingernails try soaking them in pHenomenal (maybe an ounce of pHenomenal with 1 ounce of water). Soak them for about 30 min once a day. Afterwards you can place some of the alkaline gel on throughout the day/night. Remember any off label use is at the sole risk and responsibility of the user.

I have read that lactobacillus types of food that contain Lactic Acid are good and can even destroy MRSA. Can you please elaborate on this? It is true. Adding fermenting foods such as kimchi or yogurts (watch the sugar) are fantastic. There are numerous patents for fermenting bacteria to reduce the colonization of staphylococcus in the intestinal tract. But, the large majority of the time, your staph infection is in your blood. So these fermenting foods that are so good for your intestinal tract will not help cleanse your blood of bacteria.

How long has this product been in use? pHenomenal was invented many years ago but it has only been put to use recently, when Shannon realized it was perfect for MRSA. Shannon has used phenomenal for MRSA since 2006.
